Dr. Jeff Santee graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He received his Master's Degree in Veterinary Physiology & Pharmacology in 1988 and his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 1984. During his junior and senior years, he completed an externship program at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Following graduation, he completed a one year internship at Pittsford Animal Hospital in Rochester, New York. Dr. Santee has practiced in Connecticut since 1992, joining Countryside Veterinary Hospital in 1999, and becoming a partner in 2005.
Dr. Santee's wife, Amy, is a graduate of both the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and the Yale School of Public Health. She is an Executive Director at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals. As Monroe residents since 2000, they have two children, Paige and Will, along with a yellow lab named "Caroline."
Dr. Santee's interests are college football (go Buckeyes!), volleyball, weight training, and having an active role in his children's sports teams.
